Blankets

I’m not normally a person who likes to shop or buy stuff, but I came across these blankets a few weeks ago and I am out of my mind about them.

I wanted to find a blanket that we could use for the overseas flight with the kitties. Something to keep them warm and help them feel safe, and that would smell like home. I figured I’d just buy or make a random fleece blanket and call it good.

Then I came across these Puffy Blankets from Rumpl. They ticked all the boxes for what I was looking for, and they are so beautiful!! Best of all, the shell and insulation are made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. They are really easy to clean – just toss them in the washing machine – and they seem to hold up to cat claws really well.

Most importantly: the cats love them! These will be great not just for the trip over, but will be permanent fixtures in our apartment for those chilly days. They add such a bright spot of color to any room! And pack down into a little matching bag for easy transport and storage.

I could have saved some money buy making my own blankets or using some old blankets we have on hand, but I feel these are a fantastic investment in an environmentally-friendly product that travels well, washes easily, and looks amazing. And we can use them to cover furniture – or ourselves! – once we get to Portugal!
